Who Is Gypsy Seika?

I often ask myself that very same question… I seem to be somewhat of a chameleon, always changing. The idea of expanding through the exploration of other people’s talents often inspires me to try new things. My life has been an eclectic mix of doing what I love. I have a doctorate in battlefield archaeology and dream psychoanalysis. I have worked as a gallery interpreter, artist, model, clothing/costume designer, musician, actor, chef, dancer, historian and practitioner of Kendo – along with all these things I have also attempted to learn several different languages, none of which i am particularly fluent in, but have had fun trying. Growing up I was exposed to all kinds of adventures and it has carried through into my adult life.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said ” Do one thing everyday that scares you” I loved this and think it sums up my approach. One thing I do gain from sharing my talent is the feeling I’ve put something out into the universe that people can enjoy and if it makes someone feel good, I’ve at least accomplished something.

I come from a Gypsy/Scots heritage. Perhaps that’s why I feel the need to be on the move; not so much in a physical sense (though I do love to travel), but as a mental excursion. Learning and creating new things allows me to delve into these romantic notions. I have had the great pleasure of meeting, loving and working with some of the most unique and wonderful people in the world and have been blessed with the ability to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
